Vancouver Noir and Polja: a new story, and a Serbian translation

20180827_183028_2

Absolutely thrilled to get two books that I’ve contributed to in the mail last week. Vancouver Noir is edited by Sam Wiebe, and includes stories by Timothy Taylor, Sheena Kamal, Naben Ruthnum (as Nathan Ripley), S.G. Wong, and many more! You can pre-order from Akashic Books, and we’ll be launching it on November 8th, 2018, at the Shebeen Whiskey Room, the back room of the Irish Heather on Carrall Street. Hope to see you there!

The other book is Polja, a Serbian literary journal. This is the first time one of my stories has been translated! Editor Alen Besic picked Last Woman, which originally appeared in the Hingston and Olson short story advent calendar for 2017. They even translated my name, Karli Bejker!
